[7th in 2015] Magalawa Island

Standard

This is my second out of town trip with the Layas peeps and long weekend ulet.

Been hearing about this island for couple of months now. And so, napuntahan din sa wakas.

Budget was at least 2k dapat. For bus (Manila-Zambales-Manila), boat transfer, room, island hopping and food. I brought 3k para sure. Coz uhawin ako and of course para sa mga ang etcetera lang.

We were at Victory Liner Pasay around 3ish. Bus left 4am. Slept the whole time pero mababaw sobra coz nakakatakot yun driver. And syempre sa stop over. We had 3 stop overs (in Pampanga and Zambales). Nakarating kame ng siguro 10:30 at Barangay Pangolingan, Palauig in Zambales. Took a trike (2 persons per tricycle) to Luan Port which took 30 mins din. first 15mins rough, then about 5 na flat, then rough again.

A boat fetched us from Luan, 2 balikan din coz 12 kame (10 kame sa group and may 2 pa kame kasabay). Mga 5-7 minutes na tawid din.

Then, nag-settle kame sa mga kubo namin. And humanap kakainan. At since nabasa ko sa ibang blogs na may kainan, hinanap namin ang tindahan. Found Ate Leny’s store.

After eating lunch, nag-ready na kame for our photoshoot. Hahaha paid 50 each at Armada Resort para makapag pic kame sa sandbar. Its a good thing pumayag sila. Kase I read sa ibang blogs, di sila pumapayag magpapasok don pag guest ng kabilang resort.

Stayed there for a while. And pagbalik ng Ruiz, rest lang for a while and went to Armada for dinner. No pic ng food but it was delish. We had frie lapu-lapu and pampano, fresh crab, sinigang na hipon, unli rice, fudgee bar and coke. Busog!

Went back to Ruiz, kwentuhan. At sinimulan ang nomo. No pictures, but full of laughter. At 12mn, we called it a night.

Woke up at 6ish. Went to Ate Leny’s store for coffee and paluto of our breakfast. May dala akong vienna sausage, spam and corned beef. So nagpaluto na lang kame ng rice and scrambled eggs. Busog again. And nag-ready na for Masinloc.

It’s high tide pa kaya we didnt really enjoy the sand bar at Masinloc. Sayang.
