YABU: The House of Katsu

Been wanting to try their Tonkatsu for quite sometime. Kaso balita ko mahal eh. Hahaha ang hirap tuloy humanap ng kasamang kumain.

But, natupad ang kagustuhan kong makakain sa 1st anniversary ng 4TheWin (October 19, 2013).

Litong lito ako what to get. Pero since wala sila Tempura, I ordered my second fave jap food, their Kurobota Pork Set (“3/4 inch cutlet made from ‘rosu,’ or pork with a trimming of fat. Kurobuta, also known as the Black Berkshire pig, is the world’s finest pork. It is called the ‘kobe beef’ of pork, due to its rich marbling, softness, and flavor.” Served with unlimited Japanese rice, miso soup, Japanese pickles, unlimited cabbage with sesame dressing, and a bowl of fruit.). And bottomless Iced Tea (Php 90).

It’s so tender and yummy!

Funny lang at lokohan ay ang sesame seed na ikaw pa ang mag-grind. Sabi namin nila Mame, nagbayad kame to grind our own sauce. Lels. The sauce tastes good din.  Naka 3 din akong refill ng miso soup, 2 ng cabbage and 1 ng rice. Sarap. Busog na busog lang ako, pano pa kung nag 120g ako? Haha

Next time, gusto ko subukan ang curry and katsudon. 🙂
